St George's Preparatory School has recently started offering Waterpolo as a summer sport. It has been a huge success with larger than expected numbers turning out to practices.
Practice takes place on a Friday from 15h15 till 16h20 alternating between the St George's Municipal pool and the St George's Preparatory School Pool.
The pupils learn both the technical aspects of the game and the rules. Practices normally start off with fitness, followed by ball skills and positional play.

Waterpolo is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. We offer it at St George’s Preparatory as a fun sport on a Friday afternoon, where players learn the different aspects of the game and keep fit by all the swimming that is required. It was unfortunate that the pools at St George’s Park were closed in the last term, as it did affect the waterpolo training, but we have high hopes for the sport next season and believe that there are many children at the school that could excel in this sport!
