Rugby is a very popular sport at St George’s Prep and with South Africa being crowned World Champions again I expect this enthusiasm for the sport to grow. We have weekly practices and inter-school matches are arranged.
There are a number of promising players among our boys and the skill level is impressive. We also held an annual Peppermint / Smartie Saturday rugby morning for our Grade 1, 2 and 3 boys and an Inter House competition for our older boys.

There are a number of promising players among our boys and the skill level was impressive. We also held our annual Peppermint / Smartie Saturday rugby mornings and these are very popular with our Grade 1-3 boys and always well supported by their parents. In closing I would like to thank our two students, Mr Brett McLaren and Mr David McKenzie for their enthusiasm and assistance this year.
