Where is St George’s Preparatory School?
Right opposite one of South Africa’s famous cricket grounds, St George’s in Park Drive.
Who will I play with?
There are two classes with a maximum of 25 children in each grade, so chances are that you will have approximately 25 girls or boys to be friends with.
What’s cool about the classrooms?
We have interactive Smart-boards in most of the classrooms, an excellent IT facility and a curriculum that is exciting and stimulating.
What happens if my mom can’t fetch me?
We have a very good After-Care service, where you can do your homework, play with your friends and be looked after.
What sport can I do?
We offer swimming, tennis, cricket, biathlon, golf, athletics, cross-country, soccer, hockey, rugby and netball.
I’m not really sporty, what else do you offer?
We have chess, music and a variety of different clubs.
I really enjoy Art, Drama and singing
We offer all these things with specialised teachers as passionate as you.
I love reading, do you have a library?
We have a well stocked library and encourage plenty of opportunity for reading.
Do I have to bring packed lunches to school?
No we provide a variety of fresh sandwiches at first break and a sit-down meal in our historic dining room.
Where will I go to for high school?
St George's Prep pupils proceed to the College situated on the other side of the park, to other leading Port Elizabeth senior schools and to the Eastern Cape's independent boarding schools.
What other opportunities will there be for me?
