2009 Girls' Cross Country Captain: Michaela Wells
2009 Boys' Cross Country Captain: Nicholas Wilkinson
Cross Country changed its appearance somewhat this year. The athletes were entered in the Port Elizabeth Primary Schools Cross Country League. Athletes were given the opportunity to show their mettle. They took part in six league competitions. Our athletes acquitted themselves very well.
Megan van Wyk did exceptionally well in the NMM trials. She was placed fourth in her age group. Unfortunately her age group was not entered for the interprovincial meeting. As a result she could not be awarded her provincial colours.
The Interhouse Cross-Country was won convincingly by Brawn House. Unfortunately this event could not take place in Settler’s Park due to construction work in the park so the race was run around St George’s Park. The results were as follows:

2011 INTERHOUSE CROSS COUNTRY
The Inter-House Cross Country was held at Settlers Park on Friday, 27 May. It was a most enjoyable morning and the competition between the houses was fiercely contested. The Cross Country could have been won by any of the houses but in the end Brawn, once again, proved too strong for their competitors
