The aftercare facility is a structured, stimulating program, which includes free-play, educational games, videos, art and project work. Free choice of activity is encouraged.
Discipline is part of our code of conduct and all activities are supervised by a qualified and experienced educator.
The age group catered for is from 4 years through to the Senior Primary phase. Avril Cooper, an experienced Junior Primary teacher, is the aftercare co-ordinator and facilitator.
Games and equipment are continuously up-graded to maintain an educational, but fun-filled afternoon, which runs from 12:30 to 17:00 daily, except during school and public holidays.

St George’s Preparatory is pleased to announce the appointment of Miss Alex Mitchell as our Aftercare Co-ordinator. Miss Mitchell has been appointed as a classroom assistant to Tracy Wade in Grade 2 and is a fully qualified foundation phase teacher. We are confident that the children will be in very capable hands. She will be assisted by Mrs Patricia Willem. Mrs Willem has been employed at the school for a number of years and has proved to be popular with both staff and pupils alike.
